Setup of additional PVR-USB2 - Can't Stop Recording

Using SageTV 2.0.20.
Today I added an additional capture device, a PVR-USB2. After the first tests, I noticed that once selecting a channel to watch and pressing stop, the recording would not stop. Changing the status to watched or don't like didn't stop it either. After a reboot, the recording does not start again, at least until another channel is selected to watch.

I couldn't find an obvious setting that would explain this behaviour. This
did not happen with the "old" PVR250 in the same box.

I am a bit reluctant to leave it recording, because it may use all space and then start deleting shows.

Any ideas please?

I noticed this as well. Go into your .properties file and add the following line for the tuner

mmc/encoders/XXX/never_stop_encoding=false

I have it just in front of the video_capture_device_name line in my system.
