Incompatibility with ATI TV Wonder PRO?

I am unable to record anything. I can watch TV but when I click "Recording" nothing happens. I know the card can record because it works with the ATI supplied utilities. I tries to manually schedule a recording and I got "ERROR (-10) no encoders ...". I downloaded the most recent drivers from ATI. Thanks for your help.

PS: I have updated the driver DSHOWCapture.dll but I still can't record.

UPDATE: I have installed Sage 2.2 and I am now able to schedule a recording.

That card doesn't have a hardware encoder and isn't supported for recording. You need something like the Hauppauge PVR 150 (which IIRC is about the same price as the TV Wonder Pro).

Sage 2.2 - Capture Error in Playbay

When I click "Watch Now" I get the following error message:

"There was a Capture Error in playback. Details: ERROR (-7, 0x0): There was a problem setting up software audio compression."

Sage 2.2 freezes and I need to kill it.

What capture card are you using? Sounds like you are using a card that does not work with SageTV. Is it listed in the supported cards list?

See the SageTV System Requirements for a list of currently supported cards for recording TV.
