2 interesting problems
I have 2 interesting problems....I'm running 2.1 and no matter what I do I can't get it to stop recording. I hit stop and it pauses the video but if I look at the system information it still shows that a show is being taped.
Second problem is with Cayars STV it seems that if I hit EOF the system will lock up, then when I go to put Sage to sleep it reboots the computer....very agravating... |

The Stop command will stop playback & stop a non-scheduled "live tv" recording. For a regularly scheduled recording, playback will stop but the recording will continue. Does that match what you are seeing regarding the Stop command?

Are you using Stop from a Hauppauge remote? The older setup for that remote used the Stop button as part of a skip feature. Hit Stop, then use the FF/RW buttons to move where you wanted to be, then hit Stop again and it would jump to that point.
That may be what you are experiencing. Use Options and select Close instead if that is the case. Of course, Sleep would also close the file (unless it is a scheduled or favorite recording in progress). |

Unless you've used the Record command while watching live TV or have the above-mentioned property set, I'm not sure why it would continue recording. If you go to the Scheduled Recordings screen, what does it show for the current time slot? Any border color?
