NVidia decoders

I am new to this so bear with me... I am runnin Sagetv2.0 trial and i cannot for get nvidia's decoders to work. I get mpeg errors, no sound or videos. I am not using nvidia's decoder for sound. I tried all combinations (overlay, VM9, post proc. etc...) and get different mpeg errors. Sage works fine when I use intervideo's decoder, but I watch alot of sports and it seems a little jumpy. Sorry so long. Thanks in advance...

System:
Asus A7n8x-e Deluxe
Atlon XP 3200
1GB Corsair DDR 400 RAM
WD 74GB Raptor
Sapphire Radeon 9600 (non pro)

Did you try running the Intervideo audio decoder with the nVidia video decoder?

The trick (in my experience) is to not use the audio decoder, for some reason it won't work with MPEG audio (nVidia knows this and has promised a fix after Thanksgiving). For now I'm using either MPEG Audio Decoder or Default (which is actually MPEG Audio Decoder for MPEG audio).

Yeah I tried the nvidia mpeg decoder with the intervideo audio decoder. Stll no luck. Is there any other decoders that I can use to reduce the choppy video I get when watching sports.

I've found the default recording quality to be poor for sports, too much motion to compress. Try increasing the recording quality under setup to something higher, like DVD Standard Play. Maybe that could help.

Increasing the quality won't help if he's getting errors. What version of the nvidia decoders are you using?

Lastest and greatest nvidia decoders. And it is activated. Also, I tried dscaler5 and it didn't show up as a choice in any menu in detalied setup. I am sure that I am overlooking something.
