Interesting Favorites Behavior

I noticed something odd about Favorites this weekend. It seems that when you set a show as a Favorite and adjust its settings (recording quality, start/end padding) the settings are actually assigned to the show and not the Favorite. So, if you remove the Favorite the show keeps those settings. I noticed this when watching a show that used to be a Favorite that I had set with a very low recording quality – it still recorded in the low quality no matter what my Default quality setting was. To fix this (and Narflex later confirmed) I had to re-add this show as a Favorite and reset its settings back to Default.

This is probably a bug but you could use this method to actually modify those properties for shows that are not favorites. This way, if you decide to keep a show that you just watched it would have been recorded with those settings as if it were a favorite.
