Weather not working

Hey great STV!

Has anybody figured out the cause of this error in the weather module?

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: getWeather2/class

The only related post I've seen is to remove the classpath env var. I don't have one set, so that's not it.

Thanks,
-j

i've included getWeather3.class with the meekell.stv. I'm not sure that has anything to do with the meekell.stv. You may need to remove the entries from your properties file that coorespond to the getWeather2.class.

Hey Meekell, I love your STV.

I only have two (other) comments.

1.) I don't know if this is an issue with your STV specifically. The EPG will not show a rating for movies, on the pay channels (hbox, cinemax, etc.) I wouldn't mind having the rating(s) for a movie, ie Rated "R" for violence, adult content.

2.) When you select a program such as "The Apprentice" go to "more options", "other times" the first page will only show the same channel and time for me. If I scroll down, I see the other channels/time. If I scroll back up, its all fixed. A very minor issue.

Like I said, your STV is the cleanest around, I think you spoiled me...can never go back to the blue screen o' sage.

Jim

Two Feature Requests: Import STV & Use External Programs

Meekell:

Is there anyway to have the import STV actually display the options of the imported STV? I've tried to incorporate the multi-speed fast-forward without luck. It appears to import (modifies the base STV), but it doesn't display the options & thus not the arrows for FF.

Also: if you could add the use of external programs for playing back media (a la MLBDude/SageMC), I would be able to just stay within Sage's UI to playback HD transport streams and DVDs! That would solidify the WAF for sure!

Thanks!

The import function merges the import stv into the current stv. Unless someone wrote an import function for the meekell stv chances are its not going to work (there's a clash in variable names). I've reached the end of the road for developing the meekell.stv. I hope someone in the sage community will pick up where I left off and run with it.

Would be nice to see further development on this STV. Too bad Studio is not more widely available.

I know, I know, I had to say it...
