Unstable?
When watching TV with Sage 2.0 or 2.1 the program becomes unstable. Within a half hour the application will crash. Generally I just get that Window Error message about application crashing, asking to send the error report. Every once and awhile I get a BSOD. Until the crash all features work great.
I'm currently using the Hauppauge 250 drivers on the SageTV site, but have also tried, with no luck, the MCE 2005 driver, the SHSPVR.com driver, and the standard driver on the installation CD. Setup: AMD Athlon 2000 Hauppaugge PVR250 ATI Radeon 7000 Windows XP Home Thanks, Johnnabn |

SageTV is just a front end for you encoder and decoders. If you have exhausted areas around your encoder, try experimenting with different decoders and renderers.

I'm just using the Hauppauge decoder. I believe it came on the CD. Are there any known issues with that?
Can you refer me to a decoder that you know works with Sage? |

Perhaps look into updating the video card's driver and/or DirectX too.
