Dual Tuner Anomaly
Just a quick post that might help others with dual tuners...
I have a two tuner system. One card is a retail PVR250 (-15?) and the other is an OEM PVR250. The OEM was added after the retail card and the system has been working well with 2.0 for many months. After updating to the 2.1 RC5 beta from 2.0, one tuner in my system was not working properly. The retail PVR250 would only tune in cable channel 35. Recordings and live tv both mis-behaved. Removing and re-configuring each source via the SageTV UI and updating the driver of each card to the version recommended on the SageTV home page did not cure the problem. Ultimately, removing both cards via the Windows device manager and re-installing each card seems to have solved the problem. I re-installed and configured each card independently (retail card first, then OEM), stopping and restarting the SageTv service and UI before moving on to the OEM card. Hope this helps someone. |
