ATI Remote Wonder Plug-In and v2.1
It looks like the Sage main window class has changed names in v2.1. This makes the ATI Remote Wonder plugin unable to detect whether Sage TV has focus or not. This is fixable, though.
To fix this edit the SAGETV.INI file in the ATI Remote Wonder software directory. For me this directory was: C:\PROGRAM FILES\ATI MULTIMEDIA\REMCTRL\PLUG-INS Search for: SageTvWinClass=sage.d Change it to: SageTvWinClass=sage.s Close and save the file. Close and restart the ATI Remote Wonder software. Everything should work fine after that. Hope that helps. Jason Bottjen |

Thanks Jason... I no longer use my own plugin, so I never noticed that!
I will create an updated version the next chance I get... |

nielm/JasonJoel,
Let me know what names you'd like me to use that would be the most compatible and I'll change them to be that and leave them that way. Then you won't need to worry about this anymore. ![]() You know....while I think about it I'll gladly include the plugin with the installer if you send me the information on it.(please include a file to give credit where due) Thanks,

Hi Narflex,
I don't mind what Window class names you use -- but as a suggestion SageTvWindowClass seems logical! Are you planning to change this for the 2.1 release? The plugin uses the Window class name to detect whether Sage is in the foreground... It also uses the Application class name to find the SendMessage target... Latest 2.0 version is available at: Sourceforge -- readme file with credits, installation instructions and BSD licence are included in the zipfile... (Source code is in CVS at sourceforge) |

I think Nielm pointed you to everything you need (naming and file location to include).
Thanks. It is handy to be able to use the Remote Wonder out of the box without something else like Girder. For 'basic' Sage/PVR use the plugin really works great (Nielm did a perfect job on it - ini file configurable was the right idea). Jason |
