Multiple "Roslyn/Blackbird" Support
On another thread I saw that BTV 3.5 supports multiple PVR 250BTV cards which are just Snap Stream Labeled BlackBird cards. SS claims 100% compatibility with these cards and fully supports them and claims that hauppauge has fixed the problems.
In this Snapstrem forum http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/show...ghlight=250BTV 6 tuner Roslyn/blackbird built by SS http://www.snapstream.com/Community/...sa/default.asp Is this claim true? Anyone with multiple Roslyn/Blackbird cards with SageTV who had the problem install some magic driver from Hauppauge and had the problems go away? My friend had two of these and I do not believe he ever saw a magic driver show up that solved his problem and Frey swapped them for the PVR250MCE cards they are now selling. Did Frey not get these updated drivers? Was there still some issues that were related to SageTV and not Driver related? Did Frey just decide to walk away from the issue because of the bad press and difficulty selling them from all the bad experiences people had early on? Not trying to start a flame war, but it seems that from the forum above that SS is confident on the ability to support multiple Roslyn/Black Bird cards that Frey does not for some reason. John |

I have 2 roslyns and 1 retail 250 all in the same machine and BTV has never even hicupped. I haven't tried with Sage yet. Planning to this weekend.

I know many new driver version have come out since Sage dropped the card from their retail store. Not sure what its future will be though since even Hauppauge moved away from it to the 150. That was pretty fast .

I've had 3 of them in one machine at once, it worked ok, but I ended up moving one out of that box.
