Adding more channel logos not working

Hey guys!

I'm kind of puzzled on this one. When I originally set up Sage back in May, I took a bunch of the channel logos from satlogo.com? and placed then into the ChannelLogos folder under SageTV. I saved another 10-15 logos last weekend to the same folder, closed out of Sage and reopened, and it's not showing me the new logos. They're .JPG's and they are, indeed, in the folder.....

Any thoughs??

Thanks!

Edit: Is there a max # of logos you can use? I do have a *ton* of channels.. lol

Are you sure they are named the same way as the channels in Sage are??

Are the first set of logo's still showing?

If not, was the path to the logo folder changed in the properties file?

Should be something like ...

epg/logo_dir=C\:\\Program Files\\Frey Technologies\\SageTV\\ChannelLogos

I also agree with Randy, check the filenames ....

I've double-checked the filenames... they appear to be exact matches. The original logos do still appear. I'll have to check to make sure the sage.properties file has the entry pointing to the "correct" "ChannelLogos" folder later, but it *should* be... lol

Hmmm ... Strange ... Yea, if some show then you path should be OK. Are you sure the new ones are JPG's and not PNG's or BMP's? Another thought, are they 132x99??

They are above the 132x99, but not significantly. They're the default size from www.satlogos.com. Oooh.. quick question, I see the default extension is *.jpeg when saving this logo. Does is specifically have to be *.jpg or does the *.jpeg work as well?

I'll have to check this out when I'm home tonight....

I believe it must be jpg not jpeg. The size doesn't matter. Mine are all at least double the resolution you mentioned and I have no problems.

Yep ... I would try changing one to JPG rather than JPEG as a test. That might do it ...

I used to be able to add these on the fly, but for some reason, I now have to exit Sage and restart for my new ones to be added. I know it used to work differently, but on my system anyway (MLBDUDE2.STV added), I have to restart Sage before they'll show up.

if you are just adding logos then they appear on the fly

if you are changing logos then you need to restart

Adding on the fly doesn't work for me. I have to restart it as well.

When adding on the fly, I believe it can take a while for it to discover there are new logos -- when I left SageTV running, the new logos eventually showed up. It seemed quicker to just restart.
