Sage Web Interface - Template engine not instantiated?

When I attempt to edit metadata I get the following error. This is new(ish). It used to work fine?

Code:

javax.servlet.ServletException: Template engine not instantiated.

I also get this error when trying to manage the plugins (something that I just tried for the 1st time to see what was there -- hoping for a more powerful interface then the simple one in Sage itself).

I am running Java 1.8.0_211-b12 64 bit. Should I be updating it?
