Negative timeline after re-installing SageTV9

Hi All.

Long time user that got back in the game.

I lost my Win10 C: Drive and had to start over. Yes I had a backup of my Wiz.bin file.

Start fresh with new C ssd drive, Windows 10 Pro 64bit, installed SageTV 9.2.2 32 bit ( 64 bit SageTV gave issues ). HD-PVR2.

Everything is fine except that most/aLL of my previous recordings now show a negative timeline start when I play back the movie. Example of a screen shot attached.

New recordings are all good in that the timeline is normal.

What did I do wrong? How can I fix this?

I used to see this problem when I would transcode recordings. For some reason SageTV uses one of the file properties, like Date Created or Date Modified as part of the timeline logic. So if the file date/time changes it hoses the timeline.

See this thread, does this look familiar? https://forums.sagetv.com/forums/sho...timeline+touch

So what I did is to change the date created or date modified property in my transcoding routine. But I don't know how easy it would be for you to do this if you don't have the original date/tine, unless it is in the file's metadata.

One way to fix this might be to try to fool SageTV into thinking that these are imported video files rather than SageTV recordings. You might want to search that. If you have the original file times I might be able to give you the code to alter the file property. Can you hack your way around coding at all?

Hi. Thank you.

This is a great start. Let me look at that thread. Also, I don't know when the recordings were done.

Hi. May I have a copy of the code you have? I do not have the original file times but let me see if I can figure something out looking at your code.
