Schedules Direct Missing Guide Info

I have a Favorite setup for Jimmy Kimmel Live, and I noticed it didn't start recording tonight. I checked the guide, and it just shows it as blank (see attached for a screenshot).

I have two ABC feeds, one on channel 231 (WXYZCAB) and channel 237 (KOMODT). Both of them have a blank listing for Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight and tomorrow night as well. Both channels look fine from Thursday onwards.

I deleted the sdmd5sched file and forced an EPG refresh, and the data still wasn't populated for either channel.

I checked Zap2it, and the data correctly shows up for all of the airings I checked.

Lineup is under postal code V1B 2E3, and it is Shaw Direct (National) - Satellite - Canada (West).

Any ideas?

If you deleted that file and they didn't come in, it's likely an issue on the SD side of things.

I contacted Schedules Direct and they have data for those missing airings in my guide. So it seems like the problem is more local to my system.

I only deleted the sdmd5sched and not the sdmd5prog file. Would also deleting the sdmd5prog file and doing an EPG refresh possibly fix this?

I saw the same thing on my system for last nights and tonight's airings of Kimmel. All before Tuesday and after tonight are populated. Looks like SD problem.

Good to know it's not just me. I emailed Schedules Direct back so we'll see what they say.

Schedules Direct wants you to open a ticket so they have more data to analyze.

yet another Schdules Direct issue?

I have several channels in the SageTV guide that show NO DATA. These are active channels but are useless to me unless i can see what's in the guide for them. Is this another problem with Schedules direct?

That seems a bit different than the problem I had. Is there any data for any time on these channels? Or is all no data every single day?

Have you had guide data on these channels before?

it's always no data for the channels. How do you verify that schedules direct has the channel data? They don't have a web UI for listings. I tried installing a couple programs that use xmltv and schedules direct but they don't work.

Your best bet would be to open up a ticket with them and they can check if they even have data for those channels.

Whenever I’ve had a listing problem they’ve been responsive.

One check is zap2it.com for your area code and see data for there is TMS data for the channels.

Doesn't SageTV have logs? SD JSON is very good about error codes that explain what is going on.
