Why are some of my Movies/Shows internally linked?

I have a couple of shows that I originally placed into Imports (Shakespeare and Hathaway S01E01.mkv and War and Peace S01E01.mkv). I then have moved them to my Recordings menu using the Fuzzy MoveRecordings Plugin. Somehow these 2 shows have become linked together such that, if I change the title or any of the metadata from one of the shows, it changes the metadata for both shows.

I've seen this behaviour before, and wonder if anyone else has? If so, does anyone know of a way to unlink the shows so I can correct them and get them back to their proper locations, titles and descriptions?

This is kind of confusing but SageTV has both an Airings database and a Show database. When you import shows I have found that sometimes all imports get tied together. Try using the Edit Raw Metadata feature in BMT to make the changes you want. Or reimport them using BMT to help search to get the correct metadata and Fanart.

A show should be unique and includes the title, actors, etc. There can be multiple airings of a single show which are unique in their airing date and time. The airings should each link to exactly one show.
