How to deal with videos which are neither Movies nor TV-Shows

What is the best option to deal with videos which are neither Movies nor TV-Shows (documentaries, IT videos, concerts, ...) ? In almost all cases no metadata is available and I would like to avoid that they will be displayed in Movies or TV-Show Views - I would like to browse by folder.

• use BMT Option "Fanart/Metadata Options" / "Exclude Pattern" ?
• use BMT Option "Home Videos" / "Folders" ?
• build custom VFS-View and link to "MEDIA VIEWS" ?

If you are browsing by folder, then I don't see an issue, since you are in control of which folders you are navigating??

In terms of TV views, only sage recordings and files that have TV metadata are visible, so no issue there.

In terms of Movies, you can create a vfs view that includes the main movies view but then excludes those with missing metadata... or you can tag all these files with a genre like, "Music Video" or "Documentary", and then modify the movies view to exclude any video with those genres.
