SageTV V9.1.9 very slow since Java update 1.8.0_241

I was running SageTV V9.1.9 on Windows 10 (64 bit) happily until the last Java update to 1.8.0_241. Since that update, it's still running but SageTV is very slow with lots of rotating circles. This happens both on the machine itself and on my extenders, HD200 and HD300.

I installed V9.2.1 (x86) and the problem still occurs.

If I install V9.2.1 (x64) is there documentation that describes how to import my plugins, my current sources, my current favorites, and my current libraries, etc.? Any recommendations on the wisdom of this approach?

I would rather get my 32 bit installation healthy first if that's possible. That gives me more time to work on a 64 bit clean install.

What is your SageTV Java heap size set to? Running out of heap is one of the most common causes of spinning circles.

Unfortunately SageTV 9.1.10 and above uses a bit more memory than previous versions so could have made things worse.

Moving to 64-bit is best done as a clean install. Once the basics are set up you can shut down and copy wiz.bin over to bring back all of your watched history and favorites.
