If you’re looking to build experimental SageTV servers...
Microcenter is selling 120gb, Inland SSD drives for $16!
At that price, you could have a clean backup, and do a couple of test builds with Linux, different Windows versions, whatever.
I bought one just for a backup of my C: drive.

YOu can throw 1 or 2 of those in your unRAID server and have a very decent cache drive

I remember paying a few hundred Canadian $ for a 80MB hard drive.

I paid $1500 for a 1GB IDE drive. And 6 months later $900 for a SCSI 1GB.

I paid over a $1200 for my first Commodore 64 SCSI drive and it was 10MB.

I remember 64k memory, 2x 8" floppy drives (boot/OS & pgm on one, 2nd for data), 12" green screen (pre-8088) working in a cargo container half buried in a sand dune in the desert in Egypt at night (way too hot during the day)

I don't remember what I paid for my CMD 2 GB C64 compatible HD but I think is was < 1000. Then when I was saving up for a CMD Super CPU they sold the business.
