I used to overclock the Intel Core i5-661's onboard GPU to get better video. This worked until I halfway fried it and it started giving me artifacts.

Onboard video has evolved since 2010 on Intel CPUs. Unless you are gaming then onboard is fine. I think the more recent CPUs even can handle 2160/60p.

No doubt. I've just recently figured out that some of my video stuttering was caused by the slow system not feeding the GPU fast enough.
