pulled in OTA guide data without a epg service

Is there anywhere in sagetv to adjust the setting for this? What is Kaffeine 2.0.5 doing /have to grab the data differently? I am also using Kaffeine which has no issues getting all the epg data. Sagetv seems to be really anemic with the guide generation from ota channels. Is there some code that needs adjusting? I am searching my options away from Schedules Direct.

By anemic I mean very slow or sluggish response if any. Not sure if it is a sagetv issue or something else going on.

Are you talking EPG data from OTA on satellite feeds?

In my experience when I was using it many years ago, data are very accurate in the sense of changes are applied during the day (as long as you tune to one of the channels belonging to the same bouquet or course), but very poor in content, so if you want rich data like actors, director, season numbering, category, then you might find OTA EPG a little bit scarce, but that might have changed now, also I don't think you have more that one day in advance worth of data....

Digital Terrestrial OTA might be different, but I never explored that path.

Cheers
Eddy
