problem with Placeshifter SOLVED
I've installed my SageTV server on my Ubuntu VM as I described in another post. Now I can't seem to get Placeshifter on another Ubuntu box to work. I've had this Placeshifter working when I had the server on a windows PC so I'm sure it's a configuration problem on the server side. I have Placeshifter and client connections enabled but despite connecting and loading the GUI, no video either live streaming or recorded will play. Placeshifter is on a local network. Is there any configurable settings in Sage properties on the server side I should check?
Update: I am able to connect with Placeshifter from my windows PC so it may be a problem with Placeshifter on my Ubuntu box after all. There were some recent updates which were installed. Possibly they are the culprits. Solved: Chose Dynamic streaming and now Placeshifter works. Last edited by gdippel; 05-11-2018 at 01:01 PM.
