Installing New Codecs?!?
Do newly installed codecs (AC3Filter) just appear in the Sage setup window, or do I have to re-install Sage or something?
I just installed the AC3 filter and I cand see any new codecs in the Sage setup window. Any help would be great

Only default supported codecs show up automatically.
For AC3Filter you have to add AC3Filter,In,Out to the "videoframe/additional_audio_filters=" of your sage.properties file. Make sure Sage is completely closed (not just asleep).

Are you using the AC3Filter?
The reason I am trying to use this filter is because I can't seem to get a dolby 5.1 signal out of the SP-DIF out on my PC. It only ever outputs pro-logic. As you can imagine, I would really like to be able to watch DVD's in 5.1 I just can't seem to get the AC3 codec to work propoerly - some tips on settings would be great. Cheers dude

Most of use getting AC3 out of DVD's are doing so via the Decoder (I use Sonic).
I do use AC3Filter for my AC3 DivX collection. I don't have to setup anything in Sage for that though just proper configuration in AC3Filter.
