Is there a way to make certain shows record to a particular drive?

I have 4 local drives that are written to using bandwidth instead of space available so 4 HD shows write to disk without too much fragmentation.

What I want to do is have a few news programs write to a certain drive (they are a favorite), which I do not auto run FFMPEG against to shrink them from mp2 to mp4. Those don't need to be processed as they are not kept but a day or two before being deleted.

Thanks! Bill

I’ve only found a way to direct a specific tuner to a specific drive.

That might be a start in the right direction. How did you make that work?

Maybe after doing that, there may be a way to only record certain shows on particular tuners..

I guess I could write a script to move certain shows to a particular drive prior to running a trans-coding script.

I tried using the sagetv convert function, and that created a horrid viewing experience. One show actually only came up on a quarter of the screen after converting. So I have gone back to my batch files.. -Bill
