Record to different drive??? Can this be done???
Hi everyone.
Currently, I am running Ubuntu Sever 64 Bit on a 2 TB "Green Drive" and it works quite well. I am wondering if / how I could install a smaller "boot" drive and set the software to record to the 2 TB drive? I have a nice 72 GIG Raptor that I would like to use for boot, then record all of the TV Shows to the 2 TB Green Drive and have that drive dedicated just for TV. I know this can be done on the windows side, but how do we do this in Linux land? No problem mounting the 2 TB drive, I just need to know if this will work and if anyone can share any tips with me? This forum is awesome and I do appreciate the help! Thanks, --Ray

So as long as I have the drive mounted then no problem right? This looks to be the same way as the windows side... Too easy...
I thought I had read that this could not be done on the Linux side. Thank you!!! --Ray
