how to autorotate photos globally?

Hi,

I do not know exactly when it did happen, but my photos are not autorotating any more. It might have something to do with my upgrade to v.9.
Anyway, I found it is possible to autorotate photos individually one-by-one by accessing the menu when the particular photo is being displayed. When lots of photos are upside down or sideways, it is a VERY time consuming process.
Question: Is it possible to set the photo autorotation globally for all photos? Maybe somewhere in the configuration file?

Thanks for the reply. I did what you suggested and now some pictures autorotate and some do not. However, those that do not can still be autorotated manually using the menu for each displayed photo one-by-one.

It is baffling to say the least...
