Editing Channel names and IDs from Schedules Direct
In a thread in the UK SageTV subforum Slugger indicated that it would be easy to change the program names and IDs in Schedules Direct data before it gets written into the Wiz.bin by using groovy scripting.
I've had a look at the groovy script examples on the V7 SD import filter pages but unfortunately my scripting ability ends at elementary VBA macros and the Groovy tutorials I've found online quickly go over my head. I've no experience at all with Java. Can someone point me in the right direction please. I only learned VBA slowly by trial and error and I dont want to do that on live SageTV system that the family replies on. Thanks for any help offered Eric

This ability is only available in the old SD EPG plugin that was written for v7. The version built into v9 doesn't have any scriptable filtering. Or are you saying you're still on v7?
