Don't like the ken Burns styple Screen saver slide show

the V9 the screen saver for pictures defaults to an animated picture effect. I would like the whole picture to be displayed statically like it was in V6. Is there any way to change it?

Mine displays statically so there must be a way.

Have you looked under the photo/slideshow options? The screensaver may follow those options but I'm not sure and not at home to check.

There is no option to change this setting in the settings menu. Wonder why yours display statically but mine has motion. I'm using the standard tv7 sti.

I confirmed that the screensaver simply runs the photo slideshow with an optional 'random' mode.

Go into Photos|Browse Photos and then pick options. Under there you'll see 'Slideshow Options'. Change 'Slideshow transitions' to fade or none.

You'll have to set this up from a client for the client or from the extender itself for that one. (I think each device has its own settings.)
