Screen Saver/Slide Show: More Control ?

For years, I never thought to turn on the screen saver/slide show.

Turned it on about six months ago, and it is a big hit with everybody who watches our TVs.

But it seems to cry out for some way to halt the show at the current picture and back up or go foward one pic.

Is there maybe an Add-In that enables this ? Or is the ability already there and I just need to RTFM ?

My remote does not have either of those keys.

Closest-seeming is "ENTER", but whatever keys I have tried so far just stop the slide show.

If you are talking about the screensaver, pressing any key will just wake it up (stop the screen saver). But, if you go to the photos menu and start a slide show, pressing enter/select should bring up the menu men ironed above.

The problem is the screen saver "swallows" the keypress and never passes it to the STV. I added a request to change this behavior in V9 but up to this point have not implemented it.

That has been my experience with the stock HD200 remote.

I was starting to wonder if the observations by others of success were with some other remote(s) - especially JusJoken's reference to "SELECT" on his remote.

Sorry for miss-leading you...I was refering to manually running the slideshow and NOT the screensaver. I assumed they acted the same...oops.
