Ok... I created the "static" dir (it was not there already...) and the index.htm file /mnt/user/appdata/sagetv/server/jetty/static/index.htm and pasted in the html.

Then if I access this URL directly I can see the 5 links at this URL: http://unraid:8080/index.htm

Code:
Phoenix
Batch Metadata Tools
Sage Web Server
Sage Mobile Web Server
SageTV API
I have to add index.htm to the url as somehow it does not load that automatically.

How do I get just http://unraid:8080 to load this index.htm page by default? Ideally, this way the WebUI link from the docker will work.

Only the BMT link works, I guess because I installed the BMT plugin. Do I need to install other plugins for all the other links to work? I guess I need to find some documentation on how to get going with the jetty webserver side of SageTV....

I guess I should just figure stuff out a bit more before posting here... but so I did install any other plugins that seemed to be web interface related and that got the Sage web UI and Sage Mobile UI working for me. Wow... There is a whole world out there I've been ignoring for too long! I think in my case, I just got comfortable with my v6 setup, WAF was high, and so I did not want to tweak any more and potentially destabilize my setup. If I had moved to v7 earlier I might have been more plugged in too... but Google swooped in, and then there were no more v7 licences. As it is now, I'm doing a full rebuild on unraid, and so I want to build the ultimate SageTV server. I'm getting there...

But so ideally, the docker WebUI link should work a little more out of the box after the docker install? But I guess there are just so many dependencies on getting that to work (Jetty plugin, web UI plugins, etc. etc.). Since SageTV 9 is open source now, does it make sense for more plugins to just be included out of the box so things work a bit more seamlessly? If comskip is included out of the box, why not Jetty and the required web UI plugins?

I'm just a bit curious about the development process going forward... What do we use to track defects or feature requests? :-)

Is http://unraid:8080 supposed to work out of the box after I install the Jetty plugin? Do I need to restart the docker after installing the plugin? Avoided doing that as Sage was recording shows.
http://unraid:8080/sage/Home work for me now.

...but I had to install the Jetty plugin and the Sage web interface plugin first (also install mobile UI). Then it works.

Maybe the docker could default the the WebUI link to http://unraid:8080/sage/Home? And update the docker install messaging to say that Jetty and Sage web interface plugins need to be installed? Then new SageTV docker installs will have the WebUI working more easily?

For myself, I took your landing page (or you could just use a blank page for this).... and added this line:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=/sage/Home" />

I have the Jetty, Sage web UI, mobile UI, etc. plugins all installed...

I saved the file here: <SAGE_SERVER_HOME>/jetty/static/index.html.

I restarted webserver on the Jetty plugin options page... You have to restart the webserver every time you touch the file.

...and then the "WebUI" link on the SageTV docker now redirects me to the actual SageTV "Web UI".
