Downgrade Java V8 to V7

Anyone have any advice on how to downgrade Java on Windows? I moved to Java 8 and it totally hosed Jetty.

Do I install the 32 bit or 64 bit version of Java? This system is on Win10 64 bit.

Uninstall the old version from the control panel. Install the new version. that's really if for downgrading java.

As for 32 vs 64, sagetv will only use the 32 bit version.

It turns out that I am ok under Java 8 - I panicked when I couldn't load the /apps page. But I can get to all of the underlying apps, just not the apps landing page.

So if anyone else has this happen - see if you can get to your app pages, such as:
http://myserver:8080/sage/Home or http://myserver:8080/bmt
