New build V.9 - boot drive size
So if you were starting clean, aka a fresh install of V.9 on either a W7 or W10 OS, and using the boot drive for just apps and their relevant data (that would include fan art for sage), how big of a drive would you use?
I use a 120gb SSD now, for W7 with Sage V.7 and a spattering of other apps, Plex, Airvideo, PlayOn, etc., and at the moment I've got about 15-20gb free.
Is V.9 a bigger space hog in any way?

No. V.9 is basically the same as V.7 I use a 120 GB SSD and have no issues.

I also have a 120 GB SSD. I also run PlayOn and Plex on the same machine. I still have about 25 GB of free space.

I use a 60GB SSD that's about a hundred years old.

If I was starting clean, I would probably spend the extra $20-$25 bucks and get a 240gb SSD. You don't want to be running out of space on your boot drive.

Since this is clearly a race to the bottom, my server just before I switched to unRAID was using a 30GB SSD.

If you are buying a new system I would get an M.2 NVME PCIe-x4 drive that mounts right on your mobo.

Exactly what I meant. In the case of unRAID there isn't much point in worrying about a boot drive.
