SageClient And 350-PVR

I am having some trouble getting my ATI Remote Wonder to work on a Sage Client machine. The biggest beef is that it moves the mouse pointer within Sage, rather than clicking thru the options. I have installed someone's SageTV Plugin for ATI Remote with no luck.

I have a PVR-350 just laying around collecting dust.

Can that be installed in a Sage Client machine, soley to get the benefits of the remote?

And, since I have the attention..

Is it possible to get Sage Client to AutoStart without having to type in the IP Address of the server every time??

Thanx

Is the plugin set up correclty to control SageTVClient rather than SageTV? They have different Windows class names, so that might be something to check.

Sure, the 350 would work to provide remote capability... provided you don't run into other 350 problems.

To connect to the server every time the client runs, did you configure that in Detailed Setup -> General? That is covered in the PDF file in your client installation directory.

When I go into the SETUP screen it's like I am looking at the SETUP Screen for the main server...

I'll check and re-check

Much thanx.

OK Got the auto-start issue fixed. Turns out I simply did not look far enough into it.

Thanx.

As to the ATI Remote issue, the plugin looks like it is set up to run for Server or Client. There doesn't appear a way to make a distinction between the two.

If you mean my RW plugin, it should work fine on a client machine -- it detects the app with the focus.
What are you doing that causes the mouse pointer to move--which buttons are you pressing -- the up/down arrows (bottom), or the mouse pad (top)?

BINGO...

I was always using the large pad at the top.

Just a moment ago, I noticed the smaller pad below and that functions as I need it to..

Is there anyway to swap those two pads??

Thanx for a great plugin!

Not in the ATI software... and anyway, you need the OK button in the middle of the arrow cluster...
