Love , love ,love the looks of this. Quick question. How do I manage my favorites from the home screen?

The settings menu has a 'Manage Favorites' button. It takes you to the default UI to manage the favorites.

Hmmm I hit settings button. I do not see a Manage Favorites button at all.

Oh. I think I was talking about PLite - it has it for sure. But if you are looking for it in P3 - it might not be there. You can get there via the Sage Detailed Setup item - then use the left arrow to back out then navigate around the default UI to the Manage Favorites.

I'd suggest you try PhoenixLite - it's quite a bit more polished if you can get past the lack of an EPG...

Unfortunately, the Epg is a must and we plan on using the family videos for own videos.

re: family videos - All the video based view types (including Family Videos) are fully supported on both P3 and PLite. Neither of them will handle music or picture views.

re: EPG - If you use the EPG for more than seeing what's on right now, then the alternatives in PLite would not work well. If you just find something to watch right now with the EPG, then you could easily get that info from the 'Live TV' view in PLite.

So if I'm seeing this correctly on the default UI 'Basic Sleep Timer' plugin - it adds an option menu to the video playback screen - and you can do all that kind of stuff from there...

I don't see it adding anything outside of that screen.

That's correct. Basically when you select the Sleep Timer option it brings up a list of time ranges and you select how long you want it to play before it turns it off. I'm not sure what command it uses to do that on the extenders but it seems just like hitting the power button on the remote.

Yeah, that's what I see in the code.

(It calls 'Exit()')

Is the EPG grid adjustable?

Very Nice, looks great.

Is the EPG grid adjustable?

Can the user set the number of rows and/or columns (and the font size)?

FWIW - I use the full client. I have only started looking at this over the weekend but adjusting the grid hasn't jumped out at me so far.

I'm liking P3. It is cleaner and more responsive than P2. Three things:

1) When I'm watching TV and the box pops up on the screen saying that it will change the channel to record a favorite, I can hit "option" to bring up the interface to stay on the channel or to switch to the favorite, BUT I am unable to highlight either option. Hitting enter simply dismisses the screen and changes to the favorite at the designated time.

2) While I like the look of the volume banner when adjusting the volume, having it right in the middle of the screen is distracting when you are watching a show. Would it be possible to have an adjustment option that moves it to the top or bottom of the screen?

3) The new screen saver that flips in fan art is cool. But I can't seem to find a way to revert back to the old picture slideshow version. Am I missing that somewhere?

Is there a way to adjust the opacity of the background behind the channel logos? A lot of the channel logos are dark and don't show up well on a black background. Also is there a way adjust the size of the logos? Some are super tiny and difficult to see. Thanx!

If you're using Schedules Direct, you can try the alternative logos (see last bullet). Many channels have them.

Great. Thanx!

Any special install instructions? (like running the installer twice) I'm on 9.0.14.568_R1.012 on Win7.

Nope. Just run it once.

I had to run it twice, personally. After the first execution of the installer, trying to start Sage would result in missing ClassDef and missing JAR file error messages. A second install, a "repair", cleared it all up for me.
