folder.jpg -- where to put it for DVD
Where do I put the folder.jpg picture so I can see the jacket picture of the ripped DVD?
Currently I have the following directory structure: G:\DVDS \Family Guy - E Peterbus Unum \VIDEO_TS \AUDIO_TS \Family Guy - Chitty Chitty Bang Death \VIDEO_TS \AUDIO_TS (I don't think the formatting shows that each line is a subdirectory off the root of G:\DVDS) Etc, etc..... I understand you're supposed to use something called DVD_NAME and put the folder.jpg in there? Where on the directory Structure does that go? FYI.... using mlbdude2, the latest version 1.87 I think |

It needs to go in the folder containing the
\VIDEO_TS \AUDIO_TS folders. Make sure you put the image there before going into the video library. If you did that Sage would have loaded a blank image and you can not get rid of it until you restart Sage. |

does it go in a directory like DVD_NAME (I think I've seen that) or just "naked".
Also, is there a particular size or format (other than jpg) that the file needs to be? Thanks |

Generally users setup their video files with a parent folder that is the title of the DVD. So for an example,
M:\Library\DVD\The Matrix In that folder you would see the folder.jpg and the two subfolders. \folder.jpg \VIDEO_TS \AUDIO_TS |

I did just that and I don't get a picture.
I assume this works fine with mlbdud2.stv (latest version)? |

Yes it works in all MlbDude versions. Did you try restarting Sage just to be sure?

Do I have to restart the server or just the client? I have restarted the client and it doesn't show up

gotta make sure the client and server are both using the same drive letter for the map.
For example, my HTPC server was using drive Y as the fileserver map. My HTPC client/filserver was using a local letter [D] as the disk was local. [don't ask why I can't centralize on one PC] In order to see the images on the client, I had to map drive Y to the local drive D. In your case, I'll bet you have G mapped on your server for the DVDs, but a different letter mapped against the client. Make them the same. Or, you have a local drive on the server, and drive G on the client. In that case, map G on the server to the local drive. Fixed my non-display issue. It fixed my non-image display issue. |
