As for fanart you need bmt. I can't get all images on the on now but j do pull from multiple sources to try. That's automatic and doesn't use bmt.

What issues are you having on the client? It "should" work but I dont have a client to test but happy to help figure out why it isn't.
I said it just lockup and that right after install start

I would definitely like to see the logs when it locks up. If I have time I may load up a VM and run client on it too see myself but easier if someone else shares the logs maybe I can find without the need for me to.

To get those images you need BMT installed and managed. I use the Phoenix fanart calls for those. I will be able to avoid that dependency some stage but not now and it won't ever be as adjustable as bmt

I see the errors I expected on my guide images I have a feeling the client needs its own file copied from the server here but I'm not 100% on how the clients work vs extenders in that sense.

Can you tell me exactly which V9 plugins you have installed to get fanart loading with your plugin? I've installed Phoenix Core Services 3.0.3, BMT Web Interface 4.100.0 and your CollegeProject 1.14. I configured the fanart directory and re-loaded the video import directories, still nothing.

Not sure if it matters, but I did see a system message saying "Phoenix Metadata has been installed and the legacy bmt files/plugin have been removed."

BMT is all you need did you do the web interface and refresh your fanart? If you have fanart in the fanart directory through BMT I will grab it on this.

Testing this on the PC client and I've noticed that I can't specify the fanart directory because if I go to installed plugins it is only showing server installed plugins.

Any way we can get the available plugins and client installed plugins to show?

Err that must be an error on my part...It doesn't show under the all available plugins section? I do have that in there. I will get the installed plugins to default correctly based on client.

I also updated the wiki readme to explain how to add/edit menu items. I typed it up quickly any questions feel free to ask. This is a temporary solution until I get a UI done to modify them within the UI.

Hey I pushed a new build 1.15 up to github could you grab that dev xml and install that build on your client and make sure the plugins screen now shows up correctly with client and server plugins shown?

Thanks!

New build pushed will be available in plugin store soon

STVi V 1.19
API V 1.30
  • Added scrolling up and down arrows to main menu and episode list
  • Precached views now for speed (this issue effected users with large collections causing slow scrolling on main menu). Not all views are built on menu load and cached for quick retrieval. Unexpected consequences could be not always updated but hopefully caught all the hooks needed.
  • Fixed other focus issues
  • Fixed plugin on Client as of now it won't work on client but should stop hanging it. The only part that won't work fully is the on now section won't get full pictures on a client (not android or hd300 but pc client)
  • Other misc fixes and speed improvements

New build pushed notes in second thread.

I see activity but not much posting so IDK if people are using this or not...If not that's cool just need to stop worrying about posting here and keep it all on github.

I like it. Works well on my client now.

Are you thinking about customizing the views at all? Like list view, wall, etc?

I have been checking out your progress and love the new views and fresh approach to the UI. Don't let the lack of comments deter you. I like the direction you are going and know that this is still a work in progress. I very much look forward to your posts and updates. Keep them coming and I'll try to comment and provide more feedback it's the least that I can do for your hard work. I hope you got an "A" on your project. I rate it "A+" with extra credit.
