EPG Prices ?

I am assuming that the OpenSource version of SageTV lacks the freebie EPG service that I have on v7.something.

That being the case (???) can anybody put a number on what one would pay for EPG service using OpenSource Sage?

Where I'm going on this is trying to sell somebody on Sage instead of TIVO - the hope being that TIVO's EPG prices are inflated relative to what is available for Sage.

If you have a v7 license, you can continue to use Sage's EPG server so the cost is $0.

If you don't have a v7 license then you're probably looking at using Schedules Direct, which is $25 USD per year.

http://www.schedulesdirect.org/ is 25 bucks a year if your in North America and your friend does not have a Sage TV key for themselves.

I have not used it for sage tv but have used it for Nextpvr and it's pretty nice and I thought it was worth the price when testing out Nextpvr due to sagetv not fully supporting some of my tuners.

Sorry Slugger as I missed your last remark and just repeated what you did
