I still have not gotten it yet.

What shipping method do they normally use? If USPS then it should have already arrived by now.

Wait, are you saying that the HD-PVR 60 and NextPVR will record HDCP content? How is that even possible? Does it record the files in an encoded format or something?

I'm guessing that this is not entirely legal and that in the future either NextPVR or Hauppauge will be forced to stop that functionality. Searching the NextPVR forums, I could find only one mention that the 60 could record HDCP content, so it doesn't seem to be a widely known fact...yet.

Just so know Bill I'm working with Hauppauge on hopely try to solove the crossbar filer problem for HD PVR 60 Capture Filter (HD) when you to go add a input source which should show a HDMI Input but it doesn't it PASS it and try scan like TV Tuner that odd unlike the HD-PVR 1, 2 / Colossus 1, 2 which dose show all video input.

@SHS - You seem to be well connected to Hauppauge. Do you know if they are working on a 4K version of the HD-PVR? My understanding of the HD-PVR is that the "capture" part uses the same chips used for cameras. Given that 4K cameras are becoming widespread in devices like phones, drones, Go-Pros, etc, then this should be technically possible.

I'm sure they have plan for that 4k H.265 Hardware Encoder but I can only guest that cost are just to high right now which most like be dbl it a round $300, also none of the console support 4k and PC game is a bit out of reach for lot us as would need a 4k Monitor and more proweful Video card.
