Can I edit the gemstone stop screen ?

screenshot here : https://goo.gl/photos/7AFhvCrWn7BS8KHy8 of the screen I'm talking about.

Can this be edited to add a pause playback ? I don't mind hacking some XML if you can tell me where to start

Thanks

Sure, I'm testing stuckless' Android TV miniclient and since I have the Nvidia remote, it only has direction arrows, select & back (no media playback controls) Even with such a simple remote, using gemstone I've found I've been able to do most things but I can't easily pause playback

Thanks

Is there any way to bring up the OSD...

There is a play/pause button to touch there.

BTW: in a SageTV Client clicking with a mouse on the screen does toggle the OSD on/off so perhaps a screen tap in the Android will do that ????

I can pull up that OSD (only has a play arrow for some reason) using the select/enter button on the remote but once in there to arrow keys won't let me navigate left to press it (can't navigate right either) all I can do is press enter again to pull up the screen in the screenshot

Can't tap the screen as this is Android TV, playing back on my TV

Try this stvi file. It will add a Play/Pause toggle to the OSD Options menu.

Should work as a temp solution.

Sorry to threadjack, but if you're taking requests... any chance of adding an IMDB lookup to that menu in a future update?

Do you mean as an interim solution for the android app testing or long term as you need this feature from the options panel?

IMBD search is actually not part of Gemstone but is provided by CMT so you are likely using CMT for this. We would need the CMT author to add to this options menu as it is really a default sage menu tweaked a bit by gemstone so if CMT added a hook to the OSD options menu it likely would show in gemstone. Needs to be tested though?

No, this would be for a long term solution. Sorry about the confusion there.

Ah, I wasn't aware that the IMDB search was coming from someplace else, since I've had things set up a certain way for so long. I'll have to verify where it's coming from and post in the proper thread/forum. Thanks for setting me on the right track.

It does already have a hook into the OSD options menu.

I'll have a look at Gemstone and see why it's not appearing there.

And I've just had a check and the IMDB option does display in that Gemstone menu when the CMT plugin is enabled.

Excellent. I use CMT for IMDB all the time, just never tried from that menu. Great plugin for sure.... Thanks for your continued work on this.
