What version of Java?
SageTV 7.1 installs 1.6 but it seems the Schedules Direct plugin needs 1.7. The Java website shows version 8 available. Is this compatible with Sage OSS or should I find and install 1.7? Thanks.

I use java 7 on my Server and Java 8 on my PC SageTVClients.

I believe Sage works fine with any available version. However if you use the webserver plugin, that has issues with Java 8, so you have to stick with Java 7 for that.
