HD PVR2 and HD 300 Extenders
I am having troubles with my Collossus card--so thinking about moving to an HD PVR2. After some searching, I am really confused as to if (i) the PVR2 works with Sage (I think it does and I know SHS has posted some registry fixes, but they are years old and not sure if they are still needed) and (ii) if there is an issue with getting PVR2 Audio to play on Sage Extenders (I have 3 HD 300's).

Technically you can get the HDPVR 2 to work with Sage, but about half of your channels will not have sound with live TV on the HD300. As far as I am aware, this has not been fixed by Hauppauge. There is hope that it will somehow be addressed in the opensource version of Sage somehow. For now, the original HDPVR is the best option.
