HD-PVR (original) and HD-PVR 2 Gaming on same server?

Is anyone running these two different generation Hauppauge devices on the same box? I'm wondering if I'll run into any software issues because they way I have them now, on two different SageTV servers (where one is a network encoder), they are running different drivers and different "theater software." Total Media Extreme on the original and some newer ArcSoft Showbiz something on the HD-PVR 2 Gaming Edition. I realize the theater stuff is mostly for setup, but I'd like access to both USB recorders.

I'm thinking of moving both my DirecTV receivers to run off the main SageTV server.

thanks!

The drivers are essentially universal, there's no reason you couldn't be running the same drivers on those two boxes currently. The theater software is not even required for sage, so that shouldn't matter either. The only limitation with more than one hauppauge product on the same machine is that only one of the built-in IR blasters will work.

I've found one of the older drivers is the best for me for the original HD-PVR for audio stability, the HD-PVR 2 is running on a much newer version.

The IR blaster isn't an issue because I can drive one DirecTV box with USB and the other with an HTTP interface. The theater software is for initial setup for video resolution and audio interface, I think ArcSoft Showbiz will work on both.

Guess I'll simply have to try it out and see.
