NHL Center Ice lineups off by one on Rogers

I have sent an email to Zap2it to look into this, but it appears that the EPG data for NHL Center Ice channels is incorrect on Rogers Digital cable. The guide is off by one channel number - for example it will show a given game on channel 454 when the game is actually on 453. There is a consistent error where it is off by one number. I believe this is not a new error as last March/April I also noticed this error. Anyone else notice anything similar?

If Zap2it can't/won't fix it I guess I could fix it myself by changing the physical channel number to be one more than the logical channel number - but that is a pain in the butt to do.

The local DirecTV listings are "correct", in that they list the SD game on the correct channel, but they don't provide listings for the HD broadcasts; they just show as "NHL Center Ice". I did a re-mapping last night of the SD guide data to the "-1" HD channels, and hid the HD channels from the guide. It's annoying, and I'll have to do it three more times, but it works ...

If you're a Schedules Direct subscriber then please open a ticket at our website; since we have a dedicated account team at Gracenote it's more likely to get actioned rather than an email to zap2It.

I currently get all of my data from the Sage EPG service so I don't think it is using SD.

Are these channels given channel names on your lineup? In mine they have rather generic names like SPO24 - I think that is partially because the channels are not just used used for Center Ice - they are used for the other premium sports packages.

I am prepared to go in and change the channel mappings but I am worried that they day I do this Zap2it will correct the listings and then I will have caused an error myself.

Yes, in DirecTV there are static channels for all of the sports packages. Center Ice goes frm 767 to 783 or thereabouts and goes dormant in the offseason ...
