Interesting ... i run a P-III 800 with 384MB ram ... with a PVR-350. It runs smooth for the most part, however when I ran Sage on a lesser system I got some pauses about one or two per 30 min show ... 1 to 2 sec pause ... I assumed it was because I was running below spec of the software with a PIII celeron 400 ... do you see any pauses with your system ?

no pause

my pc is an old compaq presario desktop and he works only in streaming (server) mode. i watch the recordings with my laptop (wlan) and the svhs output to the tv. remote controll over a the ir-port on the laptop. the output is verry verry good. the server is only on 2% cpu when i watch live-tv or records or mp3 or pictures. i think this model (server) is verry good pc and i have by this pc over the internet for 50 Dollar (not new pc).

i can post the model.

ps: i have this time watch tv and records directly on the server...great..no pauses no problems.
