EPG problems? Anyone else?

Hey all I noticed in my guide I have a lot of "No Data" for various channels. I looking in the logs on my sagetv server and the one entry said unable to connect to the EPG server please check your network and firewall. I have changed nothing and seem to be able to reach the internet on the server.

Also it now says my one source is no longer available (Analog) on the EPG server.

Anyone else having troubles? Is there a way to force a EPG download?

Thanks,

Neil

A couple other folks have reported some issues. Be sure to apply the fixes that Opus mentions before getting too excited. I know that I can force an EPG update from the WebUI from Version 7 plugins.

I don't think there is anything we have to do on our end is there? I have the web server installed so I just forced an update.

I posted this in the wrong place and someone moved it and then I found the older thread where people were discussing it. I got super nervous the rug was getting pulled out

Thanks!

Neil

I don't believe the rug will be pulled out on the EPG. The founder of SageTV has mentioned that he will give us some notification if the EPG situation changes in some fashion. If the fixes that Opus mentions in the other thread don't work for you, please post in that thread indicating such.

Remember, some EPG updates and resolutions can take a reboot and an hour or two of patience to see how it takes.

I read it many time that the EPG wouldn't be removed. But when it was gone for whatever reason I still got nervous. You get what you pay for remember!

Thanks,

Neil

I had NO DATA spaces twice this week, and both times it coincided with other anomalies (lost favorites, archived recordings). So far I haven't tracked down the cause, but it could be a drive/connection malfunction.
If people use Opus's fix, have they seen any NO DATA spaces in their listings after?
