Fix for possible EPG data gaps after recent EPG server outage

Due to the recent EPG server outage, it is possible that some people may see a gap in the EPG data/Program Guide. That gap it can be repaired by following the instructions in the first Q of this FAQ post. And, if there are no gaps, you don't need to do that.

Guide has No Data After Today

I'm wondering why my guide shows no data as of tomorrow. Anything I can check?

I tried disabling a channel at the video source setup and then enabling it again and the system settings still shows the guide won't be updated for a little over three hours. Why is the guide not updating?

Yes - i see that but I don't understand why disabling the channel and re-enabling it does not force an update. I'll try the other suggestions.

When the EPG updates, it only looks for changes/additions since it's last update. What this fix does, is clears it's last update time, so that it can get all the data new.
