iPad video question

I don't own one but my neighbor does, and asked me a question... they throw a bunch of kids programs on their iPad to entertain their 3 year old on long drives (they have a kid-proof case for it). But every 30 or 60 minutes, the mom has to crawl back in their SUV to switch to a new show.

Does anyone know of an app for iPads that allows you to make a playlist with videos you've put on it? The dad said she'd bought one or two that purported to do it, but did not.

I know it can be done with Plex but that would require a whole infrastructure for supporting it. It won't work with movies that are in their iTunes library.

There's no way (no downloadable app) that allows you to create a playlist of videos you've put in your iTunes library? Wow....

I know the built-in Videos app doesn't do playlists. I've just never needed such a thing so I've never investigated apps that would provide video playlist functionality. When I got my iPad I was already using Plex.

No idea if it does support this but I would look into the VLC app for iPad - I know the desktop program supports lists.
