.M4V: Plays on HD200, but not on SageTV or Client

Got a movie that I ripped with HandBrake in order to get some English subtitles.

It renders A-OK on an HD-200, but on SageTV and Client there is no sound or picture (black screen).

I have been blindly playing around with Setup | Detailed Setup | Video/Audio, but no luck so far.

Anybody been here?

I have had a similar issue with a mp4 from iTunes that plays fine on my HD200/300s but not my client. If I remember correctly, the issue is that the client doesn't like the AC3 5.1 audio track. When I play the video I sometimes get a picture, sometimes i don't, never audio with the default track.

To get around this I have to pause as soon as I load the file, then switch the audio track and it will usually play okay.

What is the audio track(s) format for your m4v?

No luck switching audio tracks - although I have done this with other files and "fixed" a problem. i.e. RightClick, select Audio Language, and change to the other selection.

Not sure that I know enough to answer the audio track format question, but when I open the file up in VLC Media Player and do a Tools | Codec Information, it says "Stream 1 Codec: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a)" and "Stream 2 Codec: A52 Audio (aka AC3) (a52)". Screen snap at http://tinyurl.com/muwfs52

Have you Installed decoders like lav filters or ffdshow then select them in Sage to decode H264?
