Turn off De-Interlacing

How can I completely turn off any de-interlacing from Sage?

Using the defaults in the setup menu, when I playback to a TV set (through my ATI 9500), the field order has been revered and it's unwatchable.

Thanks!

If you disable deinterlacing the video will not be properly displayed on your PC or TV. Only a Matrox can output properly this way.

If you still want to, just like in any PVR you need to do it in the decoder. Any settings you make in the PVR app will be ignored.

I guess a better question would be....

How do I get the field order correct on the output to my TV?

It looks like field 1 and field 2 are reversed, which obviously makes everything jerky.

When I use Snapstream's Beyond TV it outputs great... no problems, but SageTV is reversing the fields.

It's not the encoding process becuase I took the MPEG files from a recorded show and put them right to DVD and it plays fine on a set-top DVD player into a TV.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
