Possible to write a script to play file from NAS drive as soon it detect a new one?
I am planning on buying a security camera that can stream to a NAS file so I am wondering if it possible to write a script for SageTV to automatically playback a file as soon it detect new one in NAS drive? Even if I was watching something on SageTV then it would interrupt my show and playback the file?
I am hoping that I could use the camera motion detect aim at my driveway so if anyone pull up or walk up to my door it would stream to a NAS drive and then SageTV could play it back to all our our extender if they are active. We are a Deaf family so it would be a neat way to alert us of someone coming to our door. Bill
