client unc path
I have not run a client machine for years. But since I have decided to dig into making comskip more accurate on my setup, I decided to add a client to my pc that I am doing all of my comskip work on. I have installed the client and have set the paths to what I think they should be. So on my server I have 3 hard drives, 1 as a system drive and 2 as pooled show recording drives. On the server the drives are called: tv server d drive and the folder is Sageshows-1 and the other is: tv server e drive and the folder is Sageshows-2.
So I have mapped these in the client as \\sagetv-server\tv server d drive\sageshows-1 and \\sagetv-server\tv server e drive\sageshows-2. Does this mapping look right? I have tried several different settings here. If I enter a path that is not as above it will add the new path and folder to my server hard drives. Not sure what eles to do. When I watch a show on the client it has the comskip bar at the bottom of the picture, but has no comskip timings or no comskip icon. Thanks for any info Wayne

Is your server also recording to UNC paths? If I remember correctly, it should as well.

Got it!
Did not realize it yesterday, but apparently the client will not go back and pickup what has already been comskiped. Opened up the client this morning and the shows I recorded last night are there with comskip markings and the old shows are not marked. Wayne
